You might feel like summer is already half done, and that all your favourite events have already been and gone, or postponed for another year. Well, fear not, at Hidden UK Gems we have rounded up 10 of the best UK summer events still to come; from Devon to Edinburgh, there's something for everyone.

This black tie event is one of the UK's most magical. 2021's line-up boasts Madness, James Blunt, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra & Sophie Ellis-Bextor, plus many more. The festival brings together Music, Fashion, Theatre, Comedy & Fine Dining, all in this wonderful Thames side location. Guaranteed wanderlust.

After spending what feels like forever watching films on the sofa, what better way to get back out there than relaxing in this medieval castle's grounds on a summers evening watching your favourite films on the big screen. With Dirty Dancing at 8pm Friday September 3rd, The Greatest Showman sing-a-long at 8pm Saturday September 4th & Star Wars: A New Hope at 8pm Sunday September 5th, why not go movie mad and attend all three?

This summer social-fixture is a must for all car lovers. Featuring a Ladies Day on the Friday and the Classic & Supercar Grand Finale on the Sunday, this is not the cheapest event on our list, but one of guaranteed luxury and elegance. It is sure to be a truly memorable day for all the family.

Manchester Gin Festival

Choose from a selection of up to 100 gins (not all of them though!), dance to live music and enjoy great food, all in the stunning setting of Manchester Cathedral. Tickets for this event are £15 and includes Gin talks from experts, samples, your own glass and metal straw, an information book & a free voucher for your first Gin & Mixer. Not a Gin drinker? The festival also stocks over 15 premium Rums, or treat yourself to a tasty Prosecco Royale. It is sure to be a fun one!

RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2021

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show has been held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea since 1913. It has only ever had breaks, astoundingly for the two World Wars, and 2020. This world renowned event covers more than 23 acres, has over 500 exhibitors and more than 250 stands. Usually held in May, it has been moved to September this year. Awards include 'Best Show Garden', 'Best Chic Garden' & 'Best City Garden'. A bright and brilliant event sure to leave you feeling inspired.

The Big Feastival

This Bank Holiday Bonanza is set to be one to remember. With a line up featuring Sigala, Zara Larsson & Tom Grennan the music is sure to hit the mark. However, as the name suggests, this festival offers much more than just music. The Big Feastival has 'Kitchen Stages' with award-winning chefs giving live demo's, interviews and talks. A-list performers, Michelin star chefs & an array of street food, not to forget family friendly activities, is sure to make The Big Feastival one of the best in this summer's calendar.

Line of Duty Tour

Where: Belfast, Northern Ireland

The nation's favourite, Line of Duty. Season 1 was filmed in and around Birmingham, before moving to Belfast from Season 2 onwards. This half day tour will immerse you into all the famous filming locations, giving you a behind the scenes experience. Starting with 2 Course Lunch & a Line of Duty themed cocktail, before embarking on the tour of all the famous scenes. For all fans of the series, this is one you don't want to miss!

Goodwood Revival

Another event moved to September this year, Goodwood Revival is a nostalgic car festival, celebrating racing as it used to be. The only historic race meet to be staged in period dress, this gives you an excuse to dress up like it's still the good old days! Tickets are selling fast, and with historic races, renowned drivers present, classic fun fair, swing dancing and much more, you'll want to get your hands on one! Kids go free.

The Luna Cinema Experience, Chatsworth House

Another entry from the brilliant Luna Cinema Experience, but how could we not. If you have ever been to Chatsworth House, you will know how good this is going to be. If you have never been, now is the time! Thursday 19th August is Pride & Prejudice, Friday 20th Rocketman, Saturday 21st The Greatest Showman sing-a-long & Sunday 22nd showing is Star Wars: A New Hope. Chatsworth House was a filming location for Pride & Prejudice and it isn't often you get to watch a film at the same location it was filmed!

Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta

Where: The River Dart, Dartmouth, Devon

Each year, at August Bank Holiday, something very special happens in Dartmouth. The Royal Regatta committee is made up of dedicated volunteers who share a great passion for Dartmouth & The Regatta. Annually, thousands of visitors take part in this fantastic get together. The committee rely wholly on sponsors, raising income and donations. Whether you are a water lover or prefer to stay dry, there is something for everyone here; serious sailing events, entertaining Kontiki raft racing, live music, fireworks and great food & drink. It is a wonderful weekend and I myself will be attending for the third time this year and cannot wait. Here's hoping for some sun!
