London is one of the world’s most visited cities, but its greatest discoveries don't always make the guidebooks.

They’re the cafés tucked beneath railway arches, the restaurants locals happily travel across the city for, the independent businesses quietly shaping their neighbourhoods, and the places you’d may even walk past if nobody pointed them out.

That’s exactly what this collection is about.

It's been a few weeks since our London Collection went live, and we are still obsessed with it. This is a carefully curated selection of places to Stay, Eat, Drink & Do in one of the world's greatest cities. From family-run restaurants and neighbourhood cafés to creative spaces, boutique accommodation and experiences unlike anywhere else in the capital, these are the places that reveal a different side of London.

Stay

A good London base should offer more than somewhere to leave your bags.

In South Kensington, Cromwell Style IV is a spacious duplex apartment set across two levels, with floor-to-ceiling windows, a private balcony and room for up to five guests. Moments from Hyde Park, the Natural History Museum and the Royal Albert Hall, it offers the sort of space and independence that’s surprisingly rare in central London.

Whether you’re planning a weekend of museums, markets or simply wandering London’s streets, it’s the kind of place you’ll be happy to return to at the end of the day.

Eat & Drink

London’s independent food scene is one of its greatest strengths, and this collection moves comfortably between refined dining, relaxed cafés and places that are difficult to define in just one category.

On Kensington Church Street, La Fortuna is a warm, family-run Italian restaurant led by Chef Elsa, where handmade pasta, carefully selected wines and generations of family recipes come together in an experience that feels genuinely personal.

In Camden, Pritchard and Ure sits above Camden Garden Centre, creating an unexpected sanctuary filled with books, antiques and thoughtful details. Seasonal food, wine and excellent coffee make it the sort of place where lunch can easily drift into the afternoon.

Between Dulwich and Herne Hill, West 16th blends neighbourhood café, wine bar and creative space, serving everything from relaxed brunches to seasonal evening menus in a bright, welcoming setting.

At The Exchange in Erith, food is only part of the story. Set inside the beautifully restored Old Library, it combines a café, designer garden, independent shop and creative community hub beneath one roof.

Froth & Mallow has built a loyal following for its speciality coffee, creative drinks, authentic Italian gelato and beautifully presented sweet treats, while Coffee First keeps things simple with homemade cakes, brunch favourites and the sort of warm welcome that quickly turns first-time visitors into regulars.

But wait, there's more...

In Wimbledon, Dalchini is home to the UK’s original Indo-Chinese restaurant, pairing bold, distinctive cooking with Holy Brew, its atmospheric speakeasy-style cocktail bar hidden within. Together they create an evening that’s every bit as memorable for the setting as it is for the food and drink.

At Wandsworth Common, Le Gothique occupies part of the remarkable Royal Victoria Patriotic Building, combining French and Mediterranean dining with one of London’s most beautiful hidden gardens. Whether you’re stopping for lunch, cocktails or dinner, it’s one of those places that feels like a genuine discovery.

MAP Studio Café in Kentish Town is another venue that refuses to fit neatly into one category, combining speciality coffee and homemade food with a recording studio and intimate live music venue that has become a favourite within London’s creative community.

Do

This collection also celebrates the experiences that give you a reason to explore somewhere new.

Battersea Spanish is far more than a language school. Alongside immersive Spanish lessons, it hosts flamenco, salsa, film nights and cultural events that bring a little piece of Spain to south London.

A combination between a drink and a do, because of just how inspirational it is, can be found at Gants Hill Station. Metro Coffee proves that a great café can also make a real difference. This award-winning social enterprise creates training and employment opportunities for people with additional needs, meaning every coffee supports something much bigger than itself.

In Dalston, The Hornecker Centre brings together art, cabaret, home-cooked dining, exhibitions and private events inside a beautifully reimagined former workshop. It’s one of those places that reminds you London is never short of surprises.

The London Between the Landmarks

The places in this collection won’t all appear on a typical London itinerary.

They’re the restaurants people recommend to friends. The cafés worth making a detour for. The hidden bars, creative spaces and independent businesses that give each neighbourhood its own identity.

Every business has been chosen because it offers something genuinely memorable, whether that’s exceptional food, a remarkable story, beautiful design or simply the satisfaction of finding somewhere you might never have discovered otherwise.

The gems featured here only scratch the surface. Discover the rest of the collection here...
