We are always about quality over quantity here at Hidden UK Gems, when we share the best places to Stay, Eat, Drink & Do in the UK we mean just that, the best. When it comes to adding new places to the collection, curation is the key.

We are very proud to share eight new gems here, that perfectly compliment the existing gems and we are very excited for you to discover for yourself!

This month’s additions take us across Cornwall, Wales, The Cotswolds and Gloucestershire, from secluded shepherd’s huts and riverside guest houses to wellness retreats, organic farm stays and one of South Wales’ most interesting coffee workshops.

Wales

Cromwell’s Hideaway, Usk

A luxury shepherd’s hut hidden amongst Monmouthshire countryside, with uninterrupted views towards Raglan Castle and the Brecon Beacons. Slow mornings, dark skies and complete privacy come as standard.

Meidrim Meadows, Carmarthenshire

Set within its own private meadow, this secluded shepherd’s hut stay captures the quieter side of West Wales beautifully. Stargazing windows, fire pits and rolling countryside included.

Zucco Café & Workshop, Pontypridd

A modern independent café rooted in generations of Pontypridd hospitality, now becoming known for its intimate barista workshops centred around espresso, latte art and speciality coffee culture.

Cornwall

Chandlers Lodge B&B, Camelford

A restored Victorian guest house perfectly placed for exploring North Cornwall’s coastline, from Tintagel and Boscastle to the wild landscapes of Bodmin Moor.

Elmsdale Guest House, Penzance

Comfortable coastal accommodation with a growing reputation for bespoke wellness retreats, combining yoga, paddleboarding, coastal hikes and restorative escapes by the sea.

Rumleigh Farm, Tamar Valley

Hidden within 17 acres in the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this historic organic farmstead hosts countryside stays, weddings, gatherings and yoga retreats in deeply peaceful surroundings.

The Cotswolds

Kingham Cottages, Chipping Norton

Five beautifully designed cottages set within the grounds of Kingham Lodge, complete with indoor pool, Turkish hammam, tennis court and landscaped gardens in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Gloucestershire

The Naight House, Gloucester

A Georgian riverside bed and breakfast surrounded by mature gardens on the banks of the River Severn, balancing historic character with a calm, understated atmosphere.

From historic farmsteads and countryside retreats to speciality baristas courses and riverside stays, these additions continue shaping the collections already live across Hidden UK Gems.

They’re all now live on the website.
