Days here move at their own pace. You can head down to the village for a pint at the Ferry Boat Inn, paddleboard along the Dart, or catch the ferry into Dartmouth for seafood and a potter round the shops. Of course, you might just want to stay put, sink into your hot tub and watch the trees sway overhead whilst listening to the birdsong.

There’s a boules pitch, vegetable garden and games area and a warm welcome that makes you feel more guest than visitor. This isn’t glamping. It’s something softer, slower and more considered.
