If you have walked down Stroud High Street at any point during the last 26 years, chances are you will have seen Woodruffs Cafe. A staple in the community since back in the 90’s, when they were at the forefront of organic eateries, Woodruffs continues to use organic ingredients where possible and insists on high quality products throughout. Using local, seasonal ingredients as much as possible, to serve up delicious breakfast, brunch & lunch options, and of course, seriously good coffee, Woodruffs is one of our favourites around.

The current owner, Jamie, took over the business in 2020, and it has gone from strength to strength since. No matter what you are looking for, you’ll be greeted at Woodruffs with a warm welcome, every time. They are dog friendly, child friendly (with a separate room upstairs with toys and books for families with small children), have a great range of vegan options, with outdoor and indoor tables & free Wifi, making it a great choice for remote working. Stroud is synonymous with good food, and many fantastic independent businesses line the streets. We can assure you, Woodruffs is up there with the best of them, and a must visit when you are in the area. Open 8-5 Monday to Saturday and 9:30am – 3pm on Sunday, whatever time or day you choose to pop by, you won’t be disappointed!
