Set between Crickhowell and Brecon in the village of Llangynidr, Pwll Court Retreat is a beautifully converted barn complex designed for gathering well. Framed by the landscapes of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, it offers space, privacy and thoughtful comfort for larger groups who want to spend proper time together without sacrificing independence.

Sleeping up to 12 guests across five en-suite bedrooms, the retreat is arranged across three self-contained properties: The Stables & The Horseshoe connect, with The Coach House right next door. Three king bedrooms and two twins all benefit from en-suite bathrooms, while a double sofa bed in the Coach House provides additional flexibility for children or extra guests. Each cottage has its own kitchen, as well as a large dining table for twelve, which creates a natural centrepiece for shared meals and long evenings.

As well as being peaceful, the location is practical. Two pubs are within walking distance, along with a café, shop, canal and river paths. The Black Mountains rise nearby, offering hiking, cycling and water-based adventures within easy reach.
