The Glenturret Distillery, The Hosh, Crieff PH7 4HA

Set beside the River Turret in the Perthshire countryside near Crieff, The Glenturret Distillery brings together more than two centuries of whisky-making heritage with award-winning dining, hospitality & an exceptional visitor centre experience. Recognised as Scotland’s oldest working distillery, it remains committed to traditional production methods while offering a remarkably complete destination for anyone looking to experience Scotland at its best.

Distillery tours take guests behind the scenes of The Glenturret’s single malt production, following the whisky-making process through its working production areas and exploring the history and craftsmanship behind each bottle. A range of experiences allows visitors to go considerably deeper, from guided tastings to the Whisky Maker’s Experience, where guests can create their own unique single malt whisky to take home. The Dram Bar, whisky gift shop, Lalique Bar and beautifully curated Lalique boutique provide plenty more to explore before or after a tour.

Food has become an equally compelling reason to visit. The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant holds two Michelin stars under Executive Chef Mark Donald, making it one of Scotland’s most acclaimed dining destinations. Seasonal tasting menus draw inspiration from the distillery, Scotland’s landscapes and outstanding local produce, with carefully considered wine and drinks pairings available alongside. The adjoining Lalique Bar houses an exceptional collection of more than 400 whiskies from around the world.

For those wanting to extend the experience, The Aberturret Estate House sits within three acres of gardens just a short walk from the distillery. The beautifully restored 19th-century former Murray Clan dower house has six individually designed en-suite bedrooms sleeping up to 12 guests, alongside open fires, elegant living spaces, a formal dining room and a bar.

The house is available for exclusive-use stays, while couples dining at The Glenturret Restaurant can also book a gastronomic overnight experience combining dinner with a night at Aberturret. Private distillery tours, dining, fishing, golf, archery and other tailored experiences can also be arranged.

Whether visiting for whisky, world-class food or a complete Perthshire escape, The Glenturret has evolved far beyond the traditional distillery visit – creating a destination where Scottish heritage, gastronomy and hospitality come together exceptionally well.
