With roaring open fires in three separate rooms, it really is an inviting spot for cosy afternoons after a day spent exploring nearby Windermere or Ambleside.
Each room at the inn comes equipped with Wi-Fi, while Superior rooms offer the option of an extra bed or cot for families. The Duck View Studio provides an ideal setup for families of four, offering a private retreat on-site. Outdoors, you will be seriously impressed with the beer garden, providing panoramic views of the surrounding fells and the perfect place to while away the time on those sunny afternoons. Animal loving guests can also enjoy the delightful company of the inn’s resident animals, including two cats, ducks, horses, and sheep, adding to the inn’s rustic charm.

Child friendly - The Duck View Studio located on site can accommodate a family of four
Very dog friendly with them being allowed in all areas of the hotel and will soon be able to offer an on site secure field for people to book by the hour

The bar area & garden room is wheelchair accessible, the beer garden is too, however the ramp is quite steep

Two hotel cats that actually live inside the hotel, we also have pet ducks on site, two horses and two sheep in our stables
